Hand Knit Hats

“Ooh, how soft!”

That is the first thing people say when they touch one of our hand knit hats. They have the look, as well as the warmth, of wool but not the itch.

The main reason women don’t like to wear hats is what it does to their hair.  The rolled brim hats are knit on large size needles, giving them enough stretch that they will not flatten your hair so much that you are left with “hat head” for the day. Lots of women say they never look good in hats but the shape of these is flattering to most so they are pleasantly surprised when they try one on.  They are hand knit using two different painterly or heathered acylic yarns, giving them a variegated color from brim to crown. The solid colors use two strands of the same color. Best of all, they are machine washable and dryable.

The lace beanie is knit on smaller needles in a delicate lace design.  They are made from a super fine alpaca and peruvian wool combination yarn. Alpaca has the warmth of wool but not the itch.  The beanies are available in classic, go with everything colors.
