Instructions on how to clean your scarves to keep the oils from your skin and makeup from ruining the fibers.
More tips on how to clean your scarves: Silk scarves should never be machine washed, the colors have a tendency to bleed. Use a non-alkaline soap or baby shampoo and add a small amount of salt to prevent the colors from bleeding. Gently wash for about 5 minutes. Rinse under cool running water. Fill a bowl with water and add a small amount of distilled white vinegar. Submerge scarf in bowl. Rinse again. Gently squeeze out excess water but do not wring. Lay between two dry towels, being careful to keep parts of scarf from touching. If necessary, iron on low setting while the scarf is still damp. Lay flat to finish drying.
